The IndiPro Tools 24" Adapter Cable, 2.5mm Male Plug to 2.1mm Male Plug provides a power cable that adapts from a 2.5mm power connector to a 2.1mm accessory power connector. The cable features male connectors on both ends. This lets you step down in size using a single cable, avoiding the need for one or more adapters that can introduce poor electrical connections, interference, and increased power draw.
The cable is 24" long and made from 18 gauge stranded copper wire. It is created by splicing two pigtails together, the splice joint is soldered for strength, and heat shrink wrapped for electrical insulation. The splice is then coated in silicone, and sealed within a ferrite bead. The cable is tested to make sure it works before being shipped.
