Meet the Teris CRANE-26FT 26 ft Carbon Fiber Jib

TERIS CRANE-26FT carbon fiber portable crane arm

A crane move can start at eye level and rise above the scene in a single shot. The Teris CRANE-26FT gives crews up to 26 feet of arm length for overhead reveals, wide establishing shots, and sweeping moves across a set. Its seven-section, manually telescoping arm combines carbon fiber and aluminum, with updates that make it easier to set up, balance, and operate on location.

What’s new on the Teris CRANE-26FT?

More support at longer extensions

Mid-section reinforcement bands help limit arm flex and maintain alignment at longer extensions. The bands are color-coded so crew members can identify them during setup: yellow for short bands and red for long bands. Adjustable steel support cables and stainless steel section locks are also part of the arm system.

A better view from the operating position

The redesigned monitor mount lets you position the display in several places, including directly in front of the operator. The new pivot head adds accessory mounting points and allows the jib to be configured without a separate fluid head. A repositionable tilt-head center pin lets operators adapt the setup to different camera packages, and a redesigned leveling head gives them another way to level the camera or gimbal platform.

Purpose-built support for setup and breakdown

The kit includes dedicated heavy-duty jib legs and a jib dock that provides a resting point for the arm during assembly and breakdown. A horizontal counterweight bar makes it easier to add and position counterweights, with 1/4-20 and NATO mounting clamps for accessories. A dedicated rolling dolly is available separately for repositioning the jib on set.

Match the arm length to your camera package

Teris lists a maximum operating height of approximately 22 feet. The rated payload changes with arm length, so weigh your complete camera build, including the gimbal, lens, and mounted accessories, before choosing a configuration.

Arm length Rated payload
26 ft (8 m) 11 lb (5 kg)
19.6 ft (6 m) 15.4 lb (7 kg)
16.4 ft (5 m) 22 lb (10 kg)

The system supports DJI RS 2, RS 3 Pro, and RS 4 Pro stabilizers. For a commercial shoot, you might use the longer configuration to rise from a product detail into a wide shot. For a documentary or live event, a shorter configuration can give you room for a heavier camera package while still adding vertical movement to the shot.
