I met Paul and Jaycee of IndiPro Tools the first year they had a booth at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show in Las Vegas, NV. I was looking for a battery solution with a D-Tap and dummy battery cables to run some lights and cameras for my travel tv show. Their booth that year barely had their name on it, but they did have an assortment of batteries, cables, chargers, etc. that caught my attention.
Independent battery companies were really on the rise that year at NAB. They were everywhere. It was a buyers’ market. I had many choices. What impressed me most was Paul and Jaycee’s knowledge of the market, specs, and the range of options they had on display. Against the advice of many other “professionals” in attendance and suggestions that it would be a bad decision to go with IndiPro because they were new, I purchased from them anyways. Best decision I could have ever made. And you know what, many of the other battery companies have disappeared from the market. But not IndiPro.
Their products work as advertised and their customer service is outstanding.
Matt, whom I meet at a later NAB, is an excellent communicator and in the unlikely event a product is not performing, he will take care of it.
I have recommended IndiPro Tools to many of my friends in the business as well as some student filmmakers. Everyone one of them have been extremely happy with their purchases. IndiPro Tools has something for everyone’s needs and requirements, and their prices are very competitive. In addition, they are always innovating and coming up with new solutions to everyday power needs. I look forward to seeing Matt, Jaycee, and Paul each year’s conventions. Not only are they the suppliers of all my power needs, I consider them friends.
